Speed runs from 1 to 14. A putter is low. A distance driver is high. Glide runs from 1 to 7 and is how willing the disc is to stay aloft. Turn is the high-speed drift, from about 1 down to -5. A more negative turn moves right for a right-hand backhand. Fade is the low-speed finish, from 0 to 5, and it hooks the other way.
Add turn and fade. Zero or less is understable. Up through 2 is stable. Higher than that is overstable. A 7-speed with turn -1 and fade 2 sums to 1, so it is stable. A 12-speed with turn -1 and fade 3 sums to 2, still stable. A turn of -3 and a fade of 1 sums to -2, understable.
Arm speed changes the line. If your max driver distance is well under what that speed wants, the model fades the disc harder. If you throw past the speed, it turns more. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced stand in for 220, 320, and 420 feet when you do not type a distance.
